Wedding photography is about more than great photos, it’s about giving you and capturing a once in a lifetime experience.

Hello! I’m Nick, a creative reportage Wedding and Engagement photographer based in Bournemouth, Dorset. I’ve spent the last 12 years providing high quality photography and passionately capturing couples naturally across the UK, providing a high value service with giving more time than the average photographer.

Because I’m a creative, I’m looking for interesting and thought provoking compositions and natural light. I have no plans and no expectations of you. Everything is naturally and creatively shot with just a little direction when needed.

2021 Best Customer-Focused Wedding Photographer by Luxlife Magazine

In 2021 I won Best Customer-Focused Wedding Photographer by Lux Life Magazine, a reflection of the standard of service for going above and beyond for my clients. I give every couple an unforgettable once in a lifetime creative and very natural photography experience, building genuine rapport and providing a dedicated service every wedding.

Nick’s passion for photography and his creative eye really put him head and shoulders above the rest that we had seen. Looking through his portfolio at the creative ways he captures light and capturing that perfect moment, had us smiling ear to ear knowing that he could create this for us on our very special day – and he did not disappoint. His use of light and unique eye for locations made our photos look so glamorous. He made all our guests feel at ease, capturing beautiful freeze frames of the day without anyone knowing he was there.

I have spent my life being creative, with music, playing drums for a number of bands and starting my creative career as a Web and Graphic Designer. It’s where my love for Vibrant colours, nagative space, architecture and natural light comes from, in addition to editing clean and capturing emotion is very much my thing. I love the reportage – naturally capturing people with direction where needed.

A competition had come up for the chance to win full day wedding photography by another photographer, so with budget in mind, we applied. Low and behold, we won but the feeling we got wasn’t of elation. Whilst this photographer’s work was ok, it just didn’t excite us. Constantly in the back of my mind, I was drawn back to those colourful, happy photos I’d seen years previously of Nick’s. Our wedding photos are treasured memories for us both and we are so glad that we didn’t limit ourselves having a wonderful photographer because we were too focussed on budget.

From the moment that we met Nick his passion and love for creative wedding photography came across! We loved looking through previous wedding photos of his and could see his personal style threaded throughout them all. We also appreciated the time he gave and invested in building a relationship with us in our initial meet and greet and ahead of our wedding day as details were finalised! He’s a great, genuine and friendly guy.

One of our best friends commented that Nick’s energy, involvement and coverage was at least 3 times that ofthe photographer at his sister’s wedding. In fact, quite a few people commented on how hard Nick worked on the day,and we agree! He really did go above and beyond (it’s a long day). Picking the right photographer is so important, you are putting a lot of trust in somebody to capture what’s arguably one ofthe biggest days in your life.
You get what you pay for, it’s a very important decision and investment to make. We are both very glad we decided to put our trust in Nick.
