FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I have set prices based on the number of hours you book. More commonly, couples will see the advantages of 12 hours coverage or more (from 9am-9pm). I start with a 10 hour package, but every package includes my 18 years of experience and unique style of shooting/editing, Coverage is from getting ready to dancing (depending on your time line and hours you have booked me for). I include a 1 year backup of your photos and download. Your gallery is online for 1 year too, which you are very welcome to share the link for your guests to see.

Travel and accomodation is included in all packages up to 250 miles. For extra travel and multiple accomodation (often for multiday coverage for Asian weddings). Most weddings will include up to 800 photos with predominantly colour photos with some black and white versions. For Asian weddings including pre-event photography (Haldi, Mehndi etc) there would be more like 1500+ photographs delivered.

One of the things I love most about this job is the travel – every year I get to explore new venues across the UK, which keeps things fresh and exciting. As a creative photographer, I don’t work from a fixed shot list or set locations. I prefer to be present in the moment, chasing interesting light, colours, and unique environments as they unfold.

I’m not here to repeat the same wedding shots at the same familiar spots. In fact, couples and guests often comment on how different my photos look and feel – sometimes they don’t even recognise the venue because I avoid the usual ‘go-to’ locations (we can absolutely do those too though). My goal is to break the mould and give you something truly original. I want to capture not just the setting, but your real emotions, personalities, and the vibe of your guests too.

Let’s create something unique together and see where the day takes us

I travel the whole of the UK. I live in Dorset but the majority of my wedding enquiries are scattered throughout the South and the North. A lot of London and near London locations like Luton and Harrow and Midlands areas like Leicester, Birmingham and Wolverhampton. If a couple loves my work and wants me to be part of their wedding, I will be there! Travel and Accomodation is part of most packages and 90% of the time I am staying the night before close to the venue or getting ready location and staying the night of the wedding too as I normally stay till 11pm/Midnight.

Absolutely! I’ve had the pleasure of capturing weddings in Italy, Greece, and Spain so far in my career and have visited France and Amsterdam before for unique engagement shoots. Destination weddings are a little different from those in the UK — we only get one shot to make everything perfect, so it’s important to use our time wisely and make the most of the incredible location.

Because of the additional logistics involved, we’d need to have a detailed planning meeting to go through everything. Travel and accommodation are invoiced separately, and I do charge a bit more for destination weddings to cover the extra time spent travelling, as it usually takes me out of action for multiple days — typically Wednesday to fly out to allow for any potential travel disruptions, to then leave on the Monday morning (if you have 3 days wedding coverage).

Absolutely… this is to not only to protect me as a self employed professional but to protect you also. It’s really just my Terms and Conditions laid out for you to agree to, and would be very similar to most pro photographers.

When it comes to payment, it’s 50% up front (this pays for my monthly bills and my business expenses) and 50% 2-3 weeks before the wedding, but it can also be 25%, followed by another 25%, followed by the remaining 50% 2-3 weeks before the wedding to help you more. If we have a meeting and you book me within a week, there is a £100 discount off of your package. The booking fee has to be paid upon signing the contract.

Yes whether English Weddings or Asian Weddings you can book pre events with me too whether a simple family BBQ or traditional Asian pre events like a Haldi, Mehndi, Sangeet, Jago or Sagai. Simply select it as an option on one of my pricing pages.

It really depends on how busy I am and particularly in wedding season, May-Oct. I try to do no more than 25 weddings a year in order to have time to communicate well with you and support you, rather than be so busy i have no time for anything other than shooting or editing. Generally I normally deliver within 4-6 weeks and I much prefer to see you again and have some lunch or dinner together and show you your coverage on an ipad, but if logistics don’t allow us to, I can just send the gallery on email.
