Punjabi Indian Wedding at Guru Nanak Gurdwara & The Rose Garden Banqueting Hall Wolverhampton
T & R
T and R had their Punjabi Indian wedding celebration at Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Wolverhampton, with pre events taking place a few days earlier. R’s Maiyan and Jago were full of energy and laughter, celebrated at home and at The Brooklands Suite, setting the tone for the days ahead.
Their wedding day began with a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony at the Gurdwara, surrounded by close family and friends. The calm and spiritual atmosphere reflected the importance of faith, tradition and community within a Sikh wedding.
The celebrations then moved to The Rose Garden Banqueting Hall, a new venue just a few minutes away. The reception was full of colour, music and joy, with emotional entrances, lively bhangra and a packed dance floor that kept the energy high throughout the evening.
From the quieter moments during the Gurdwara ceremony to the buzz of the evening reception, the day unfolded naturally and was full of genuine emotion. Photographing weddings like this is what I love most about working as an Indian wedding photographer, capturing real moments as they happen rather than staging them.
