Archive and Backup -

Separate from the DVD's in you case. I include spare DVD's for you. All original RAW files (negatives) and jpg versions of your photographs are backed up on two separate hard drives for up to one year for your piece of mind, however it is advisable that you back up your photographs on your personal computer as well. If you require me to keep your photos backed up indefinately, a yearly fee of £45 is required.

Copyright -

Copyright of photographs belong to Nick Rutter Photography but you are given an exclusive license to use the photographs for any personal use and you are free to reproduce the photographs as many times you wsh. This includes digital and printed copies for friends and family. However, NO PHOTOGRAPH can be used for commercial use or re-sale by you or any 3rd party distributed to without permission. Out of courtesy, I supply a separate contract which will have all the photographs I would like to use for my portfolio, printed and online media/adverts so you are thoroughly happy with the photographs I wiish to use.

Travel Expenses -

Where it is required that travel expenses are incurred, these expenses (petrol, parking, etc) are charged under my own discretion, but will be a sensible and reasonable amount. This cost includes travel expenses incurred during our initial meeting, venue/s visits, wedding day travel and delivery of your photographs. These expenses will be documented on the contract, there are no hidden charges. There are no petrol or parking charges for a wedding within a 20 mile radius of Bournemouth.

Weather -

A lot of couples ask "what happens if it rains?". The first thing I say is, "do not let it spoil your day!". What I suggest in such instances is to have some fun with it instead. Maybe borrow/hire some umbrellas and I will do my upmost to achieve unique outdoor or indoor photographs. Where outdoor photos would be essential upon booking your beautiful venue and if the weather disrupts the photos,
I have absolutely no problem in re-doing your photographs on another day at no extra cost, bar expenses.

Deposit -

50% deposit is required upon signing contracts (including half of the petrol expenses) - you do not have to pay the whole amount up front! This is to help you financially and to make sure the date is yours. Deposits can be made by cheque or bank transfer.

What if you can't make it because you are ill on the day etc?

Don't worry I have to be deaths door not to make your wedding! But...I am one of 10 local professional photographers who have each others back. If i am unable to make your wedding due to unforseen circumstances another professional will take my place at no extra cost. In the unlikely event that no photographer is available (especially at busy times of the year) your wedding insurance (which I highly reccomend you book from the get go) will cover monies paid to me.
