Firstly thank you so much to all my lovely clients who booked me this year. What a creative journey we went through in some spectacular locations and light! I also achieved some great milestones by having one of my photos on the front cover of Lonely Planet Magazine, a feature in Range Finder, blog post on Love My Dress Wedding Blog, Boho Weddings , 10,000+ followers on My Instagram and a featured blog post all about my thoughts on 'Consistency when editing' with JPEG Mini.
If you're new to my work, my style is pretty modern in that I'm not really a very traditional wedding or engagement photographer. I much prefer shooting creatively than generically, more natural and reportage than super posed - although there will always be an element of posing to a certain extent - to get the best out of people.
I've had a great time capturing couples around the country and still a great number of couples closer to my home of Dorset and Hampshire - booking me for their weddings in the South of UK. A lot of London Engagement Shoots too this year which has been super fun and creative. Including exclusive access to the Tate Modern, The Natural History Museum, Covent Garden, Borough Market, South Bank, Shad Thames, Bushy Park and Hampton Court Palace.
I hope 2019 will be as good a year as 2018, meeting brilliant people who opt for a more creative photographic experience and making many more couples really happy that they chose me to be part of their day.
Enjoy some of the brilliant weddings and engagement shoots I captured below... You'll see a mixture of reportage, natural, creative, beautiful and some classic shots and I'd be very grateful if you would share this blog with any friends or family who you think would really love and value my work to consider me for their big day.
