John and Kerry met back in 2006 where they got to know each other at a works summer party just weeks before Kerry headed off to University. Even the distance didn’t throw off the relationship and after 9 years John proposed on a beach in Barbados whilst on holiday.
They both grew up in Poole so wanted to keep the wedding close to home so they could share the special occasion with close friends and family. It was then they fell in love with the beautiful gardens and grounds of the award winning Italian Villa in Compton Acres gardens. They loved the idea that each part of the day would be spent in a different room whilst remaining at the same spectacular location amongst the character that the Italian Villa has to offer.
John and Kerry had a simple and elegant theme of blush, soft peach, ivory and lace as they didn’t want to draw attention away from this stunning venue. Local wedding suppliers were able to assist on their perfect day with some of the finishing touches completed by the bride herself for a personal feel.
