James and Joanna met almost 7 years ago through a mutual friend. Joanna was at University in Warwick, but whilst out for the night, back in Bournemouth, they met, and in good time too as the next day James was off back to Sussex.
They spent the next 3 years living in different counties before James came back to settle in Bournemouth. They've had a long engagement after an NYC Central park proposal in the snow before deciding to get married at Sopley Mill this year.
These last few months have been pretty rubbish with the weather, predominantly raining. So the location ideas Rich and Sarah did have, unfortunately couldn't work. However, because of the weather and being regular visitors, they thought of Bovington Tank Museum for their engagement shoot. They thought it was a great location to have an indoor photo shoot just in case it did rain, which of course it did! But because we were inside, we made the most of the tanks for a more quirky engagement shoot.
I met Nick and Genna at a previous couples wedding where Genna was a bridesmaid. A few months afterwards they asked me if I could shoot their wedding which will be at the stunning Lulworth Courtyard in Dorset.
George and Molly are an amazing young couple who are marrying at their home church and having their reception at Upton Country Park in July 2016. They grew up in Bournemouth and love Coy Pond. However, Bournemouth Gardens in November looked particularly beautiful with some amazing reds, oranges and pink autumnal colours which we just couldn't ignore.
Matt and Laura love viiting Lymington in Hampshire in the New Forest and often visit the Saturday Market there so they thought it would be a great location for them to have their engagement shoot as well as utilising the area which included the cobbled street, the quay and with kind permission, we were able to take some shots around the boats at Lymington Yacht Club.
Pete and Laura are marrying this November at Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch, Dorset and live in Clapham and so are very near to the beautiful Battersea Park in London where they wanted their engagement shoot.
Tom and Clare live and work at Clare's nan's rural holiday retreat set on a18th century farm in Limousin near Limoges in France called Le Penaud Gite. A fantastic rustic and rural site, in and around quintessential France. They work there throughout Spring and Summer and thought it would be a fantastic location for a destination engagement shoot before they come back to England to work and plan their Wedding.
Nick and Kirsty are marrying at Highcliffe Castle in March next year. They suggested Arne near Wareham, Dorset for their engagement shoot. Arne is a beautiful nature reserve the other side of Poole Harbour on the way to Corfe Castle. It is somewhere special to Kirsty as she went there a lot with her family when she was young and she took Nick there not long after he met her family for the first time. It not only has some beautiful woodland but also the perfect beach with woodland growing over it, something I haven't seen before which made for some stunning shots of these too stunners.
