Olly and Laura met at work and soon fell in love. After a wonderful Holiday in Thailand, Olly proposed to Laura and the rest is history. They have always wanted to visit the very popular RHS Wisley Gardens in Woking, on a quit day and especially around October with the autumn leaves so we thought it was a perfect location for their engagement shoot.
Jamie and Sarah chose Kingston Maurward for their Engagement Shoot with me because Jamie spent 3 years of college at Kingston Maurward and as the wedding venue (Athelhampton House) is in Dorchester, it was nice to go back with Sarah, show her around, plus very near to their Wedding Venue.
Ollys romantic tactics were to tease Nikki - She would often come into work and find out that her password was changed, or language settings to be in french and emails would automatically translate to Chinese. It clearly got her attention! They chose Peckham for their Engagement Shoot with me as is it where they bought their first home together. They love the Peckham area in London as it has great restaurants, pubs, outdoor areas and quirky buildings. There is always something going on.
Rachael loves Hengistbury Head and used to visit often with family. She introduced Chris to Hengistbury Headwhen they first got together - the beaches, the lovely grassy areas, the noddy train and the golf courses near by. He too fell in love with the place. So they thought it would be a brilliant place to have their engagement shoot. Chris loves to fly a kite too, so we thought we'd make it a kite flying engagement shoot too!
Jamie and Sarah met in Birmingham. They chose the Custard Factory in Digbeth for their engagement shoot as they spent many of their first dates there, enjoying Birmingham’s musical nightlife. The artist and creative look of the Custard Factory has always appealed to them and this was a venue they considered getting married in before getting seduced by the seaside in Bournemouth, so it was a perfect choice for the engagement shoot.
Ryan and Gabby met through mutual friends and have been together for nearly 8 years now. They chose Marwell Zoo for their engagement shoot because they love visiting zoos and it's something they still enjoy doing together when they have free time. They visited Marwell for one of their first dates together and they also stayed at the hotel as an engagement present from Gabbys parents.
Kevin and Caroline met online in 2010. Caroline works for the National Trust and she selected the beautiful backdrop of Lacock and Lacock Abbey for their engagement shoot location. As well as being a place she regularly works at, she has happy memories of spending time with her mum and sister at the May Day Fare as a child.
