Roger and Natalie met at a friend's birthday party, almost 7 years ago and moved in together last year, buying their first home together in Penarth, Wales. Roger proposed to Natalie soon after and they thought Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan would be a beautiful place for their engagement shoot with me.
Sian and James live in Southampton and met 6 years ago, while James was still at University studying yacht design and Sian was living on the Isle of Wight. They chose Cowes as their engagement shoot, as it is a very special place for them. One of their first dates was here and Cowes has been their gateway to many Island adventures. It's also where Sian met many Friends, working at the hospital there. Also Cowes is the capital of UK yachting and James is, well addicted to boats - so it was really appropriate!
Stacey and Ben's story started 15 years ago, when they both met whilst working together and fell for each other immediately. Ben graduated University 5 years later and they moved in together after years of travelling. The year of their 10th anniversary (and when they both turned 30), they got engaged on the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco. A year later they went on to have their beautiful daughter together. They chose Brownsea Island as it is where they have visited come rain or shine as it is a beautiful spot to watch the world go by together and now as family.
Elliott and Emily live in Northampton and met through friends at age 16. They got together properly at an under 18s club night. It was there they swapped numbers and became childhood sweethearts. They have spent a lot of time renovating and decorating their home which looks stunning, so they felt it was the perfect location for their engagement shoot
Engagement Photography is a huge part of my work. Not only the creativity side of it but more about the rapport that's created with my clients - spending time with them, getting to know each other more before their big day. Engagement photography see's me travelling the country and sometimes overseas for destination engagement shoots. I don't like to shoot the same location's twice so that every engagement shoot is unique and different.
