Engagement Photography is a huge part of my work. Not only the creativity side of it but more about the rapport that's created with my clients - spending time with them, getting to know each other more before their big day. Engagement photography see's me travelling the country and sometimes overseas for destination engagement shoots. I don't like to shoot the same location's twice so that every engagement shoot is unique and different.
Dan and Sally met 13 years ago at a youth club in Wimborne Dorset. Dan proposed to Sally in Sydney and they chose Sculpture by the lakes in Dorset as their engagement shoot location to capture the autumn leaves and the autumn sun.
Ben and Louisa met at university in Stafford. Ben eventually plucked up the courage to ask Louisa on a date, where he cooked a homemade lasagne. Shortly afterwards, Ben asked Louisa to be his girlfriend, and just over a year later, asked her to become his wife. Stafford Canal was where Ben and proposed to Louisa, so they thought it was the perfect place for their Engagement Shoot
Olly and Laura met at work and soon fell in love. After a wonderful Holiday in Thailand, Olly proposed to Laura and the rest is history. They have always wanted to visit the very popular RHS Wisley Gardens in Woking, on a quit day and especially around October with the autumn leaves so we thought it was a perfect location for their engagement shoot.
Tom and Clare met in Hartpury but look after Clares Nans rural holiday retreat in the Limousin in France for most of the year where they had their engagement shoot with me followed by their September Wedding at Highcliffe Castle in Dorset.
Jamie and Sarah chose Kingston Maurward for their Engagement Shoot with me because Jamie spent 3 years of college at Kingston Maurward and as the wedding venue (Athelhampton House) is in Dorchester, it was nice to go back with Sarah, show her around, plus very near to their Wedding Venue.
