I am friendly, approachable and down to earth kind of guy. I know weddings can be stressful so I like to think that I can take some of that away and be relied upon to take beautiful photos at a price that suits everyone.
I have met and continue to meet, absolutely fantastic couples who want great photos of their wedding day - which is exactly what I offer. It is a real privilege to meet a couple, be involved in their wedding day, and to provide a lasting memory in the form of high quality photography. This is what makes my job so enjoyable!
My love for photography developed during my student years at university where I studied photography as part of a Creative Industries BA (Hons) degree. Learning about 'the greats' - from Cartier Bresson to Robert Capa was really inspiring. 60/70 years ago, photography won votes and changed governments. The amazing photos by Nick Ut from the Vietnam war shows how photography has changed the world.
I am a member of the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers) and my background is in Web, Graphic Design and Marketing. After graduating university with a BA in Creative Industries (Advertising) I remained freelance but also worked at a number of design agencies. I also continued my photography, photographing events and weddings on a part-time basis. In 2008 I took the challenge of becoming a full-time wedding photographer, not thinking I could make a great living out of it but with the intention of offering the best service but charging a sensible amount under £1000. The response has been amazing and I continue to meet awesome couples and enjoy working right across the south coast and wherever couples want me, including the occasional European wedding.
